Jonetta Eads: Executive Director
Jonetta Eads, the Executive Director for WellQuest of Menifee Lakes. Jonetta has been in the senior living industry for a number of years, starting as a caregiver and working her way up through different management positions. She has proudly focused on promoting active lifestyles and enriching the lives of seniors. Jonetta was most recently part of opening a large new community in Oceanside, CA as the Executive Director. Her experience with new developments will certainly be an asset for Menifee Lakes! Jonetta lives in Menifee with her husband and two daughters and enjoys travel, biking outdoors, camping trips and spending time with friends and family.
Shelly Mitchell: Health and Wellness Director
Shelly Mitchell, the Health and Wellness Director of Menifee Lakes. Shelly has been in assisted living since 2006, starting as a Marketing Rep and gradually working her way up through the years. She eventually found her true happiness on the nursing side of assisted living with a focus on dementia care. She prides herself on developing a relationship with the residents and their families. Shelly lives with her husband in Menifee. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her three sons and two grandchildren.
Michael Turner: Sales Director
Michael Turner, Sales Director at WellQuest of Menifee Lakes: Michael has been in senior living for over a decade, starting as a family caregiver for his grandmother, who inspired him to pursue this career path. His time as a Caregiver, Activities Director, Memory Care Coordinator and Sales Director have all contributed to Michael’s passion for being of service to seniors and their families. Michael and his wife raise two boys, one with special needs. They enjoy camping, swimming, and playing games together. Michael loves to have fun with residents and can often be seen sporting themed suits and other fun outfits for special occasions!
Luis Miranda: Culinary Director
Luis Miranda, Director of Dining Services. Luis was born and raised in Peru and started working at his family’s restaurant when he was 14 years old, helping everywhere but especially enjoying his grandmother’s kitchen. When he came to this country, he worked in different restaurants learning different cuisines and obtained his diploma in Culinary Arts. He started working with seniors in 2008 in memory of his grandmother, who died of Alzheimer’s. Luis feels great satisfaction when residents compliment his team’s work. That really makes his day!
Loida Baskins: Memory Care Director
Loida Baskins, Memory Care. Loida has been working in assisted living and memory care since 2000. She loves helping people. In her free time she loves to spend time with her grandchildren and also fly with her husband to Monterey and Santa Barbara, her favorite places to visit.
Vicki Rumsey: Move-In Coordinator
Vicki joins the WellQuest of Menifee Lakes team with 25 years of hospitality experience. She began her career with Disney in management as a cast member, learning hospitality from the best. Part of the management training is working as a character in costume to experience firsthand the delight of guests when they are greeted. She was then responsible for booking guestrooms at the Disneyland Hotel, which offered 1000 rooms at the time and 50,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space. While matching the appropriate guestrooms for the guests’ events, she also became an expert in creating and coordinating events. Vicki went on to work for Intercontinental Hotels Group, Hilton and Marriott. Most recently she specialized in the extended stay hotels, offering the guests their home away from home. She displays enthusiasm for the community.

Eddie Segura: Facilities Director
Eddie is excited to be working with WellQuest of Menifee Lakes. He has been working in assisted living communities for over 15 years. He enjoys working with residents and being a part of their lives. He has a wonderful wife and three kids. He enjoys traveling and exploring new places with them. Eddie also enjoys playing with his kids and spending time with them going to Dodgers games or their favorite place, Disneyland.
Smyrna Escareno: Move-In Coordinator
Smyrna started out at WellQuest of Menifee lakes as the Activities Director and was promoted to Move-in Coordinator. She has 6 years experience. She has six years of experience working in senior living. When she is not working, you can find her hiking or spending time with her family. Smyrna is passionate about creating a meaningful and fun-filled program for residents. She enjoys spending time with the residents and putting a smile on their face, making a difference in their day to day life.
